In this paper, we present the effect of turbulence anisotropy on spatial distributions of the gas phase and on the axial velocity of the liquid, in bubbly two phase flow. It is a numerical simulation of a turbulent flow, unsteady, two-dimensional, ascending and isothermal, performed along a vertical plate plane. The used approach is the Eulerian two fluids model associated with the usual closure laws. Turbulence is described by the two phase model, taking into account the anisotropy due to shear of the liquid and fluctuating movements of the bubbles.
