Abstract

Thermistor is a one of the non linear temperature sensors. An attempt is made to model thermistor characteristics using apparatus of Fuzzy Reasoning. The very idea of fuzzy reasoning by linear function has been explored in modeling the thermistor. The results show great resemblance between practical results and results obtained using fuzzy based thermistor model. This also demonstrates the feasibility of using fuzzy reasoning in device modeling, specifically non-linear in nature.
