Abstract

Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) are developed to the literature data pertaining ozonation process for treatment of effluents from electroplating industries to develop and validate a model that can predict removal of Suspended Solids, Dissolved Solids and Total Solids. Artificial Neural Networks are relatively new artificial intelligence technique that emulates the behaviour of biological neural systems in digital software or hardware. The ANN networks can learn automatically, complex relationship among data which makes the technique very useful in modeling processes.
