Abstract

Contamination of lead nitrate has devastating effects on aquatic life and aquatic environment therefore heavy metal toxicity has become a matter of current research over last some decades. The present study was conducted to find out histopathological changes in brain tissue of Fresh water fish P. ticto due to exposure of lead nitrate. Results of this study indicate that neurotoxic effects of lead nitrate were more in higher concentration (5.00ppm) because space formation was magnified with increasing concentration of used heavy metal.
