Abstract

This study describes an anaerobic fermentation approach to convert such as addition of Tapioca fiber waste to methane. We have developed a costeffective process, which has resulted in 98% reduction of chemical oxygen demand in the reactor and production of methane biogas in the digester reached an average of 7.49 m3/m3 of the reactor/day, which was higher than previously obtained 5.49m3/m3 of reactor/day. This study shows that a 25% rise in methane production with this method is possible.
