Abstract

Evaluating the wastewater treatment plant efficiency often requires decision makers to consider conflicting, vague, and uncertain information. A combination of degree of match with fuzzy composite methodology is developed for evaluating the overall efficiency of wastewater treatment plant, processing the field data of treatment plant situated at Sutat city, India as a case study. The feasibility of the proposed approach for evaluating the overall efficiency has been discussed, through field data, where strength of treated wastewater is described in different linguistic terms. The approach detailed in this sequel might be considered as a small step.
