Three complete feeds for lambs were formulated incorporating Prosopis juliflora pods at 0 (T1),15 (T2))nd 30 (T3) % lelels. The effect of feeding these complete rations on various nitrogen fractions and total volatile fatty acid concentrations at 0, 2, 4, and 6hr post feeding In rumen llquor of growing lambs was studied. Effect of the complete feeds on various rumen metaholities was nonsignificant. However, time of sampling had a significant (p<0.05) influence on all nitrogen fractions and total volatile fatty acid concentration.
