Samples of feed stuffs and of green fodders, at different stages of growth, were analysed for cobalt content. The oil seed cakes had the eighest concentration of cobalt followed by cereal grains and straws. The lowest Co concentration was observed in maize grain and straws. Among fodders, the legumes were richer in cobalt than non- legumes at ail stages of plant growth. There was a gradual and significant (P<0.05) decline in concentration of the cobalt as the plants gained maturity.
