Three urea based sorghum diets containing 10% molasses, 5% molasses + 5% tapioca thippi and 10% tapioca thippi were fed to red kandhari heifersin three consecutive feeding trials, The intake of DM and TDN was low on all 3 diets but that of DCP higher, however, there was constant reduction in body weight of animals. Hence, it was concluded that tapioca thippi was not a suitable ingredient for inclusion in urea based roughage diet of cattle.
