Eight crossbred entire male pigs (Av.66.4 kg) were randomly divided into two groups and led on conventional concentrate and rice polish for 50 d during fattening period. Though DM1, ADC, and feed efficiency were similar, the digestibility of DM, OM, CP, NFE and nitrogen balance (g/d) as well as DCP were significantly (P<0.05) higher on conventional feeding. The feed cost of weight gain (Rs/kg) was considerably less in pigs fed rice polish. Thus rice polish could be fed to fattening pigs as a sole feed with adequate mineral and vitamin supplements.
