Studies were conducted on 144 cllnical cases and 120 healthy control of lactating Murrah buffaloes. Blood samples analysis for glucose, urea, SGOT, SGPT, T3, T4, and biogenic amines revealed significantly higher (P<0.01) differences in ail clinical cases as compared to healthy control except in T3 and T4. Significantly high (P<0.05) differences except for SGOT were also observed when tested seasonwise. The sick animals came to normal rumination after 4 to 12 h and to normal milk production after 12 to 96 h of radical treatment and supportive therapy.
