Nutrient intake and digestibility as affected by four physiological stages were studied in Barbari goats. DM, CP and TDN intakes were significantly (P<0.01) higher during lactation as compared to growth and early pregnancy but comparable to late pregnancy stage. Digestibility of DM, OM and TCHO remained unaffected by physiological statusof goats however, CP and EE digestibilities were significantly higher (P<0.01) during growth than that at early pregnancy. Though, urinary loss of nitrogen was unaffected, nitrogen balance was significantly (P<0.01) higher during late pregnancy as compared to other physiological stages.
