Tree leaves (Albizia lebbeck, Sesbania aegyptica, Leucaena leucocephala and Accacia nilotica) and range legumes (Stylosanthes samata, Atylosia scabroideus and Lablab purpureas) were almost similar in their CP content except that of S. hamata which was lower (P<0.05) than others. Tree leaves were lower (P<0.05) in NDF, ADF and hlghef in lignln than range legumes. In sacco digestibilities of DM, OM, N and NDF were similar for tree leaves and range legumes except for A. lebbeck. The eate indicated that nuttitionally tree leaves compared well with range legumes.
