One twenty eight chicks of uniform weight were randomly distributed in 16 groups of 8 each, and assigned to 8 isocaloric and isonitrogenous diets containing 2.0 or 2.5% fish meal protein using fish meal with or without mixing fish scales for 32d. Thereafter, 3 broilers from each of two replicates of each treatment were slaughtered. Use of 2.0 or 2.5% fish meal protein diet using fish scales mixed Jawla fish or fish meal yielded higher (P<0.05) or similar dressed weights. Similarly, organ weights and processinglosses were influenced significantly. However trends were not uniform.
