Abstract

Fallen Koha (Terminalia Arjuna) fruits contained high level of oxalates (4.42%), tannins (4.70%) and fiber (40.67%) which may affect its palatability in animals. Ensiling of Koha fruits, treated with water, Ca (OH)2, urea and molasses decreased tannins and oxalates in variable amounts however, 4% lime treatment was most effective.
