Twenty four crossbred male calves, distributed among four groups in a randomised block design, were fed on rations containing optimum level of fat (Grl) but varying proportions of free fatty acid (GrII), phospholipid (GrIII), triglyceride (GrIV) for a period of 150d. The average ddily gain (ADG) were e37.11, 359.38, 440.00 and 413.89 (g/d) and DMI were 2.46, 2.50, 2.65 and 2.63 kg/d respectively in groups S-IV. ADG and DMI were significantly (P< 0.01) highee rn groups III and IV. The feed conversion efficiency for DM, CP and TDN was also ssgnificantly (P< 0.01) influenced with addition of different types of dietary lipids. It may be concluded that among the types of dietary lipids; phospholipid and triglyceride groups showed better growth performance and feed conversion efficiency.
