Two iso-nitrogenous complete feeds having same proportions (40%) of dry leaves of either neem (Feed-I) or mulberry (Feed-II) were pelleted using power driven pelleting mechine and evaluated in two metabolism trials using bucks of Sirohi and Barbari breeds, respectively. The variations in chemical composition of complete feeds other than CP was attributed to changes in the ingredient composition of complete feeds. Intake of DM (86.90±4.27 g), CP (12.73±0.56 g), DCP (7.69±0.36 g) and TDN (51.05±1.96g) on metabolic body size basis was higher in feed I than for feed II. The % ingested N was higher in feed II (65.73) in comparison to feed I (60.27). Similarly, the % absorbed N was higher an feed H (51.48) in comparison to feed 1 (40.10). Except for digestibility of EE, the digestibilities of other nutrients were more in feed II than in feed I which resulted in higher (P<0.05) TDN intake. N-utilization, nutrient digestibilities and nutritive value of feed H (mulberry) was better than feed I (meem) for goats.
