One hundred eighty, day old, broiler chicks, divided into nine groups of 20 each were randomly allotted to three dietary treatments viz standard basal ration (T0), basal ration + Flavomycin-40 @ 100 g/t (T1)) basal lation + Pounix-B @ 200 g/t (T2). After 7 weeks, birds receiving Flavomycin-44 a Bid Polmix-B supplemented diet weighed signfficantly more (P<0.05) and showed a better feed conversion efficiency, without significantly affecting carcass characteristics. The average cost of feeding per kg gain in body weight for treatments T0, T1 and T2 was Rs. 10.51, 9.94 and 932, respectively.
