Abstract

Urea treated sorghum ear husk (2% urea, 40% moisture, 28 d) replaced 36% DCP in the ration of growing calves. The calves fed with treated sorghum ear husk (TSEH) consumed less (P<0.05) DM arid had higher (P<0.01) nutrient digestibilities and average daily gain. Ration containing TSEH showed higher DCP and TDN contents.
