Gliricidia sepium leaves slong with small lwigs sontained, 22.4 CP, 4.5 EE, 10.5 CF, 54.5 NFE, 8.0 Ash, 1.26 Ca and 0.18 P on % DM basis. Black Bengal type local goats consumed 2.44 kg of Gliricidia DM/100 kg B.wt. Nutritive value of Gliricidia fodder for goats were 14.02% DCP and 60.2% TDN. Goats were in positive N balance on sole Gliricidia feeding, however, Ca and P balances were negative. The goats subsisting on Gliricidia alone lost about 17g weight each day.
