Eight Murrah buffalo bullocks (3½ yrs; 354±22 kg)) fed on wheat Straw plus green sorghum (40:60). A digestion-cum-metabolic trial conducted at the end of the experiment, revealved that average dry matter intake (DMI) was 6.89 kg/d (1.94 kg/100 kg body weight). Apparent digestibilities of DM, CP, EE, CF and NFE were 54.42, 44.70, 39.23, 60.68 and 54.23 per cent respectively. Average total intake of water from all sources was 36.1 litres/d and evaporative loss of water was 1.38 I/d.
