Effect of Dietary Levels of Albizia lebbek, Leaves on the Utilization of Mature Dry Grass in Goats

Twelve adult goats of similar age and body weight (16.52±2.50 kg), randomly divided into 3 groups of 4 each, were fed on A. lebbek leaves + mature dry grass (Sehima-Heteropogon) in three different ratios viz 15:85 (T₁), 30:70 (T₂) and 45:55 (T,). DM intake was similar among the treatments. Digestibility diffident of DM, C)M, CP, and CF was higher (P<0.05) in T₂ as compared to T₁ and T₃. Nitrogen and Phosphorus balances were positive in T₂ and T₃, while it was negative in T₁ Balance of Ca was positive in all treatments.
