Ten recently shorn and mated female German Angora rabbits were assigned to two groups of five animals each in a completely randomised block design and were fed on either high protein (30% CI’) or normal protein (17% CP) concentrate mixture with mixed green gvassadlib for ninety d. A digestibility trial was conducted during mid gestation. DM (P<0.10) and CP (P<0.05) digestibility values were significantly higher in high protein fed group. The litter size was significantly higher (p<0.01) in high protein fed group than in control group however, wool characteristics did not differ significantly between the groups.
