An experiment was conducted to study the effect of yeast supplementation on growth, feed efficiency and the carcass quality of birds. Hundred two, day old Hubbard chicks were randomly divided into three groups and reared on concentrate mixture containing 0 control, 0.35 T, and 0.5%T2 (w/w) baker's yeast. Daily feed intake and weekly body weight of birds were recorded. After 6 weeks, six birds from each group were subjected to a metabolic trial to study the nutrients balance such as N, Ca and P. At 8 weeks, 6 birds from each group were slaughtered to study the carcass quality. The results showed non-significant effect of yeast feeding on growth, nutrient utilization and carcass quality.
