Abstract

The mean values of haemoglobin, blood glucose, serum calcium, serum inorganic phosphorus and serum total protein at the end of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th month of pregnancy in ewes were lower than in non-pregnant ewes (before estrus), however, the difference was significant (P<0.01) only at the end of 3rd and 4th month of gestation and onwards.
