Seasonal variation in dry matter and nutrient concentration in five tree fodders namely Anjan (Hardiwickia binata), Babool (Acacia nilotica), Kardhaie (Anogeissus latifolia), Mahaneem (Melia azedarach) and Saris (Albizia lebbek) was evaluated. March-June was found to be suitable period for lopping the tree leaves to feed the livestock. The CP content in tree leaves was highest in rainy season (16.94%) followed by summer (15.02%) and winter (13.63%) seasons.
