Chemical composition of twenty five commercial compounded cattle feed samples, collected from farmers and dealers in and around Vijayawada Sown of Andhra Pradesh, indicated that the CP content of feed samples from local manufacturing units, standard companies and government organisations was 10.7, 15.6 and 16.4% and CF was 21.8,17.1 and 12.4% while total ash content was 14.8, 13.7, and 13.0%,respectively.
