An experiment was conducted to study the effect of feeding frequency on tne growth performance in rohu juveniles. The fishes were fed once (T-T), twice (T-II) and thrice (T-III) daily in flow-through system with a stocking density of 600 nos. and flow rate of 3.0 1/s. The net biomass gain and feed conversion efficiency in the treatment groups T-I, T-II and T-III were 5.15±0.03,7.91±0.55 and 5.16±0.27; and 3.21±0.05,2.16±0.16 and 3.35±0.06, respectively. Net biomass gain and feed conversion efficiency were significantly (P<0.05) higher In T-II than in T-I and T-III. The water quality parameters did not deteriorate during the course of the experiment. Feeding twice to rohu juveniles is beneficial in relation to growth performance.
