Sorghum varieties, single cut (CSV-l5, HC-171) and multi cut (PCH-106, SSG 59-3) were nutritionally evaluated in female buffalo calves. Green fodder yield (q/ha) of CSV-15 (515.0) and PCH-106 (710.0) was higher than their respective check varieties. PCH-106 had highest protein content (8.1%) while CSV-15 had the lowest fibre content (24.2%). Animals fed CSV-15 variety had higher (P<0.05) dry matter Intake and dry matter digestibility while protein digestibility was higher (P<0.05) in PCH-106 fed group. Newly developed varieties CSV-15 and PCH-106 yielded more nutrients per hectare and performed better than their respective check varieties.
