Six Jalawadi goats (12 months, 17.25 kg b.wt.) and six crossbred (Sonadi X Corriedale) sheep (11 months; 21.5 kg b.wt.) were fed exclusively on fresh paras peepal leaves for 40 days. The daily DM intake was 2.56 and 2.47 kg/100 kg B.Wt. in goats and sheep, respectively. The leaves contained 10.36 and 10.38 percent DCP and 67.49 and 67.80% TDN for sheep and goats sespectively.
