Abstract

Berseem (Trifolium alexandrium))odder rsmples were earvested aa tivv different cuts at 8, 14, 17, 21 and 25 weeks after sowing in Ist to Vth cut respectively. ADF, NDF, crude protein, nitrate and β-carotene were estimated. Maturity increased NDF, ADF, however β-carotene content and crude protein were reduced due to increasing maturity. Nitrate levels were high at pre-flowering and flowering stages.
