Thirty Newzealand White rabbits, distributed into 3 groups of 10 each were fed 1400g of green paragrass per day as basal feed. In addition, group ‘A’ was offered conventional rabbit feed concentrate (RFC), while group B and C received 5 and 10% of Schleichera oleosa leaf meal replacing RFC on DM basis. During 56 days feeding trial the average daily gain (APG) and feed effciency were higher (P<0.05) in group A than in groups B and C, however rabbits in group B and C performed satisfactorily indicating that Schleichera oleosa leaf meal can be fed to rabbits replacing concentrate mixture up to 10% level without any ill effect.
