In sacco DM degradability studies were conducted to find out appropriate level of fibre at each level of protein (10 to 16%). Using commonly available ingredients, twelve complete rations were formulated by following the linear programming technique. The individual feed ingredients and complete rations were chemically analysed for crude protein and crude fibre. The in sacco degradability of the formulated feeds showed that 20–25 per cent fibre level was appropriate for different levels (12–16%) of protein.
