Fifteen lactating cows were divided into three equal groups. The first being control (TI), the animals of group II were given Ruchamax @ 30 g/day and group III Payapro @ 4 boli/day for 15 consecutive days in a month for 3 consecutive months. All the animals were fed on seasonally available chopped roughage and concentrate mixture to meet the nutritional requirement according to NRC (1988). A monthly blood sample was collected and it was fractionated for serum and blood as such for biochemical and haematological study. Milk production was recorded daily, Milk production was highest in group II followed by Group III. A nonsignificant difference was observed in Hb, PCV and TEC concentrations. The blood glucose concentration was highly significant (P<0.01) among different treatment groups, and the highest value was recorded in group II. Highest SAP concentration was found in treatment I and it was statistically signiflcant (P<0.05) where as SGOT was differed nonsignificantly (P>0.05) among different treatment groups.
