Four multicut sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) varieties viz. FS-92079, FSH-13, PCH-106 and 855-F and three cutting intervals viz. 35,45 and 55 days after common cut at 50 days of sowing were examined for forage yield and chemical composition of different nutrients. Variety FSH-13 produced higher (P<0.05) total dry matter (175.4 q/ha) and DDM yield (88.36 q/ha) than other varieties. Delay in cutting from 35–55 days intervals increased (P<0.05) total DM, CP, and DDM yields. PCH-106 recorded higher (P<0.05) DM, cellulose and lignin and lowest ash and OMD contents than the other varieties. Variety 855-F recorded higher (P<0.05) OMD than other varieties, however, same variety recorded lowest DM, NDF, ADF, hemicellulose, cellulose, lignin and DM yield than other varieties. Delay in cutting decreased CP, DMI, ash and OMD content.
