The samples of groundnut haulm from summer crop of groundnut harvested at recommended time and ten days earlier were analysed for proximate composition. The samples from groundnut harvested at recommended time had about 2% more CP tlian the from those harvested 10 days earlier. This by-product provides 5 67% DCP and 56.77% TDN on dry matter basis. Balances of N and Ca were positive while that of P negative.
