Forty-eight broiler chicks were equally distributed into four treatments. The experimental feeds were prepared by mixing without and with sorghum, mouldy sorghum or detoxified-mouldy-sorghum @ 2:1 proportion in commercial broiler mash, and designated as T0, T1, T2 and T3 rations. The digestibility coefficient of nutrients in various dietary rations ranged for DM 68.54 to 71.51, CP 78.23 to 82.02, CF 7.25 to 21.56, EE 81.06 to 83.68 and NFE 75.30 to 80.26. Use of mouldy grains as feed ingredient in ration lowered feed intake, growth rate, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and dressing percentage. However, after detoxification improvement in above parameters was observed. It was concluded that detoxified mouldy sorghum can be used as feed ingredient in broiler mash.
