Crossbred (Hampshire x Khasi local) female pigs (12) of 170±10 days old of 39±0.67 kg body weight distributed into two groups, were offered a control diet and a test diet containing 60 percent job's tears grain replacing 100% maize and rice polish in control diet. The diets were offered ad lib twice a day, for 42 days. Digestibility of DM and that of P were higher (P<0.05) in control diet, but significantly (P<0.05) higher digestibility of CP was observed in test diet. However, digestibility of calcium and that of fiber were similar in both diets. The daily live weight gain and feed conversion efficiency were depressed (P<0.05) in pigs fed test diet. But job's tears grain is a local crop, therefore, it could be used as energy feed in finisher pig ration by resource poor fanners of northeastern region.
