Abstract

Studies were conducted to evaluate the groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) haulms (GNH) alone or with yeast culture (GNH-YC) as sole feed for Nellore brown rams. Supplementation of yeast culture to GNH improved the digestibility of nutrients considerably especially cellulose (P<0.05). The efficiency of utilisation of phosphorus was also improved (P<0.01).
