Abstract

An experiment was conducted to compare the effect of feeding iso-nitrogenous conventional (T1) and complete feed (T2) in goats. The average DMI was 417.1±8.2 g/d in T1 and 536.6 ± 9.6 g/d in T2. The digestibility of DM, CF, NFE was significantly (P<0.05) higher in T2 than T1. The DCP and TDN values were 10.2 and 58.9 10.8 and 66.5 respectively. Weight gain was significantly (P<0.05) higher in T2 (46.8 g/d) than T1 (35.2 g/d). All animals were in positive N, Ca and P balances.
