Abstract

A metabolism trial was conducted on six Patanwadi ewes of similar body weight in order to determine nutritive value of sun-dried Azolla. The dry matter intake was 67.60±3.64 g per kg W0.75. The balances of N and P were positive and that of Ca marginally negative, The DCP and TDN values were 10.20% and 45.41% respectively.
