Nutritive value of Gomphrena globosa (N.O. Amaranthaceae) hay was determined by a feeding and metabolism experiment on four Barbari goats. The hay was quite palatable having DM intake 2.76±0.12 kg/100 kg live weight and it supplied TDN 61.58%, DCP 7.49%, DE (Kcal/kg W0.75) 143.53±5.2 and ME (Kcal/kg W0.75) 117.7±2.6. The nitrogen balance was 5.75±0.54.
