The nutritive value of leucaena seed was determined in 10 crossbred goals divided into two equal groups. The concentrate mixture for groups 1 and 2 respectively supplied 50 and 100 percent CP through leucaena seed. Results of the metabolic trial indicated no significant differences between the digestibilities of various nutrients in groups 1 and 2. The average daily retention of N, Ca and P were 1.31±0.20 and 0.92±0,33; 0.95±0.29 and 0.93±0.12; 0.15±0.22 and 0.41 ±0.11 in groups 1 and 2 respectively and did not differ significantly between the groups. The DCP and TDN values as calculated by difference procedure, were 17.92 and 81.84 percent respectively. The leucaena seeds were found to contain 3.61 and 2.96 MCal of DE and ME respectively.
