The correlation of bulk density of berseem (Trifolium alexendrium), Guar (Cymopsis psaraloides), Oats (Avena sativa) and Hybrid Napier with CP, NDF, ADF and lignin contents was studied. The results indicated that bulk density was positively correlated (P<0.01) with CP in legumes and graminaceous forages whereas the correlation of bulk density with NDF, ADF and lignin was positive in case of legume and negative (P<0.0l) in case of graminaceous forages.
