Replacement of CP of concentrate mixture at graded levels (0,10, 20 and 30 per cent) by subabul (Leucaena leucocephala) seed did not affect body weight gain, body measurements, feed intake and feed conversion efficiency in Sahiwal X Jersey calves. However, the cost per kg body weight gain was significantly (P < 0.01) lower in treatments where subabul seeds replaced 20 and 30 per cent of CP of the concentrate mixture.
