54Mn kinetics was studied in two groups of goats fed 20 and 80 ppm dietary Zn. The administered activity disappeared quickiy from blood and plasma at both levels of Zn, but on high Zn level disappearance was slow. High dietary Zn caused greater Mn retention by reducing Mn excretion. The results indicated that dietary Zn level can alter Mn kinetics probably by regulating homeostasis.
