White Plymouth Rock cockrels (50 weeks old) were used to determine the apparent metabolizable energy (AME) and true metabolizable energy (TME) values of maize, raw rice polish, deolld rice polish, groundnut cake, hominy feed and fish meal. The AME values were 3472, 3176, 2334, 2768, 2573 and 2652 kcal/kg and TME values were 3631, 3392, 2640, 2945, 2738 and 2823 kcal/kg on DM basis, respectively.
