Two digestion trials were conducted with nine castrated large White Yorkshire males to determine the nutritive value of Samai (Panicum miliare).The digestibility by-difference method was 70.92, 77.67 and 80.40 per cent, respectively for DM, CP and energy. However, by direct method, the respective digestion coefficients were 66.21, 74.20 and 74.25) per cent.
