Cattle manure ((50 percent) was ensiled with molasses (38 percent) and urea (2 per cent) for 21 d. True protein and CF In the resulting biomass was 16 and 9.5 per cent respectively, In a trial with 100 d old broiler chicks.up to 6 weeks, maize grains in the diet of control group w-as replaced at 25, 50, 75 or 100 per cent levels with silageblomass. Body weight gain of birds improved at low level of replacement. Feed consumption increased with Increasing levels of silage-biomass in the test diets while 100 per cent replacement level depressed it with poor utilization of feed, beyond 50 per cent replacement level, and wetter droppings.
