Four rumen fistulated buffalo bulls (42m; 240-249 kg) were fed on four treatments viz. unground wheat straw (T1), ground wheat straw (T2), unground paddy straw (T3) and ground paddy straw (T4) based complete feed blocks following a 4 x 4 Latin Square design. The daily DM Intake was highest in animals fed on T4 following by T3, T2 and T1, respectively. The digestibility of DM, CF and NFE was significantly (P<0.05) affected by the type of straws. The digestibility of these nutrients was highest in animals fed on T3 diet followed by those fed on T4, T1 and T2. The digestibility of CP and EE and rumen fermentation pattern was not affected by treatments.
